Point Park Motorsport is a non-profit, student-run team dedicated to designing and building a formula-style race car entirely in-house. As a new program, we’re building everything from the ground up, which means sourcing the right materials, tools, and components is key to meeting competition standards and creating a car that can actually perform.

To do that, we rely on outside funding to support manufacturing, equipment, and travel to competition. The team is made possible through support from the university and our sponsors, whose contributions and insight help us move forward. Every donation goes directly toward developing the car and giving members hands-on experience they can take with them after graduation. All contributions are tax-deductible.

Supporting Point Park Motorsport means backing a group of students who are learning by doing. Members gain experience in design, fabrication, and project management while working toward a finished car at the end of the year.

In return, we promote our sponsors through our website, social media, team materials, and on the car itself. Sponsors also have the chance to connect with our members for recruiting. We aim to build real relationships by sharing progress, inviting partners into our workspace, and learning from their experience in the field.

By sponsoring Point Park Motorsport, you’re directly helping us build something from the ground up. As a new team, a lot of what we’re doing wouldn’t be possible without outside support, and your contribution plays a real role in both our progress and our education.

There are also benefits on your end, both now and down the line. Sponsors have the opportunity to connect with and recruit members of our team for internships or future positions. Through Formula SAE, we’re gaining hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, and teamwork, and many of us are looking to bring those skills into our careers after graduation. We also see our sponsors as companies we’d want to stay connected with in the future, whether that’s professionally or as potential partners.
